Pearl of the Orient

We’re traveling to the tropical shores of the Philippines for the next addition to the Around the World collection. We wanted Pearl of the Orient to feel like a serene, high-end island escape, so we formulated this bar with real yogurt powder to give it an incredibly silky, skin-softening feel.

The fragrance is pure tropical elegance. It starts with a light, breezy wave of clean jasmine blossoms before opening up into the exotic, narcotic sweetness of native ylang-ylang, which is locally celebrated in the islands as the "flower of flowers." To finish it off, we added a rustic dusting of natural coconut shell powder for a touch of real island texture. It’s a sophisticated, complex scent that turns your daily routine into a relaxing revolutionary retreat.

Did You Know? Ylang-ylang is so central to Filipino culture that it is woven into traditional welcoming garlands to greet travelers arriving on the islands. Its name literally translates to "flower of flowers" in the Tagalog language, a nod to its incredibly rich and intoxicating aroma that has made it a prized ingredient in high-end perfumery worldwide for generations.

Weight: Approximately 5 oz. Every bar is hand-cut in our Ogden studio. Because of this artisanal process, slight variations in size and weight are a hallmark of our handcrafted "old-school" method.

We craft every batch using traditional cold-process methods to ensure the highest quality. Our base features organic, sustainable Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, and pure Olive Oil. To elevate the experience, we enhance our bars with rich, plant-based butters—such as Shea, Mango, or Avocado—for a luxurious, skin-loving finish.
